Attorney: DANIEL OMORO ACHACH

The founding partner, Mr. Achach is an advocate of the High court of Kenya, member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators. He holds a Phd in International Trade Law (Bond University, Australia), MSc in International Trade Policy and Trade Law (Lund University, Sweden), an advanced Postgraduate Diploma in International Trade Policy and Trade Law (Lund University, Sweden) and a post Graduate Certificate in International Trade and Development from Trade Policy Training Centre in Africa (TRAPCA) among many other academic qualifications. He is the head of the firm as well as the head of litigation and arbitration in the firm. He has a background of academic excellence and intensive hands on training and complex aspects of top individual and corporate litigation. He prides himself as one of the few eminent experts in East Africa in International Trade Law and Trade policy and has assisted several governments and regional trade blocs in formulating, designing and executing trade law and policy instruments. An astute litigation advocate, his litigation experience is extensive in the Supreme, Court of Appeal, High Court and Subordinate court including specialized Tribunals such as Business Premises Rent Tribunal, Rent Restriction Tribunal, national Environmental Tribunal, Procurement Tribunal and Kenya Industrial Property Tribunal among others. He has handled a number of Election Petition for various clients, and has also been involved in high profile civil and international commercial and public law litigation for various clients including

Prior to his current position, Mr. Achach was the Managing Partner at Ochieng Achach and Kaino Advocate, an associate Advocate in the firm of Mohammed Muigai Advocates and a senior associate and head of the client service team for Stanbic Bank, Kenya Commercial Bank, Consolidated Bank of Kenya at Sichangi and Company Advocate gaining massive hands on experience on the needs and unique challenges of the Banking Sector clients.
